These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of GotReceipts (gotreceipts.io), operated by GotReceipts ("we," "us," "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. What GotReceipts Is

GotReceipts tracks publicly reported stock and cryptocurrency calls made by public figures in news headlines, and measures the outcome of those calls against the S&P 500 (SPY).

GotReceipts is not a financial advisor, broker, investment platform, or fiduciary. The Service provides informational and entertainment content only. Nothing on this site constitutes investment advice, a recommendation to buy or sell any security, or a solicitation of any kind.

2. What GotReceipts Is Not

The data on this site is derived from publicly available news headlines, not from SEC filings, brokerage records, or verified trading activity. Our data represents headline-based picks, not a complete trading record for any individual tracked.

Specifically:

• We track the public signal a retail investor would see (a headline), not the full investment activity of any person.
• Entry prices are based on the closing price on the next trading day after a headline is published. Actual trades by the individuals tracked may differ in timing, size, and price.
• Returns are calculated on an equal-weight basis ($100 per headline) and do not reflect actual portfolio allocation.
• Win rates, average returns, and alpha figures are based on this headline methodology and should not be interpreted as verified performance records.
• Past performance does not predict future results.

3. No Investment Advice

Nothing on GotReceipts should be construed as investment advice. We do not recommend that you buy, sell, or hold any security or cryptocurrency based on the information presented. Any investment decisions you make are entirely your own responsibility.

The Signal Playbook, Scouting Report, and other analytical sections present historical observations about publicly reported calls. They describe what has happened in the past. They do not predict what will happen in the future and should not be used as the basis for investment decisions.

You should consult a qualified financial advisor before making any investment decisions.

4. Accuracy and Limitations

We make reasonable efforts to ensure the accuracy of our data, but we do not guarantee that any information on the Service is accurate, complete, or current. Errors may occur in headline sourcing, price data, date matching, ticker identification, or return calculations.

Data is sourced from public news feeds and financial data providers. We are not responsible for errors or omissions in those sources.

We may correct errors at any time without notice. Historical data and calculations may be updated or revised as our methodology improves.

5. Accounts and Subscriptions

Free tier: Access to verdicts, stats, pick lists, and limited analytical sections at no cost. No account required.

Pro tier: Access to expanded analytical sections including the Scouting Report, Signal Playbook, time windows, sector breakdown, and inverse analysis. Requires an account and a paid subscription.

Pro subscriptions are billed monthly or annually through Stripe. Prices are listed on the Service at the time of purchase. You authorise us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods.

We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with 30 days notice to existing subscribers.

6. Account Security

Accounts are authenticated via magic link (email-based, no password). You are responsible for maintaining access to your email address and for any activity that occurs under your account. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to provide investment advice to others without appropriate licensing.
• Scrape, crawl, or systematically access the Service by automated means without our written permission.
• Reproduce, redistribute, or republish our data, analysis, or content without attribution and a link to the original page.
• Attempt to interfere with the operation of the Service.
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
• Misrepresent GotReceipts data as verified trading records or official performance figures.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on GotReceipts, including text, design, code, data analysis, and methodology, is owned by us or licensed to us. You may share individual receipt pages via link or screenshot with attribution. You may not reproduce our data in bulk or create derivative products without written permission.

Headline text displayed on the Service is sourced from third-party publishers and remains the property of those publishers. We display headlines for the purpose of identifying the public signal being tracked.

9. Third-Party Links and Sources

The Service contains links to third-party news sources. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or availability of those sources. Every pick on the Service includes a link to the original headline source for verification.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GotReceipts, its owners, operators, and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or reliance on the Service, including but not limited to financial losses resulting from investment decisions.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless GotReceipts and its owners, operators, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your investment decisions.

12. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via the Service or email. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, for any reason, without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, and Disclaimers) will survive.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of New South Wales.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
